Heartwood’s C2ActTM Solutions produces the building blocks for complete Virtual Training solutions. Our services range from production of Simulation-ready photo realistic 3D Models (for integration into your platform), to complete turn-key custom Virtual Training applications, built from the ground up.

Heartwood produces:


1. Simulation ready optimized 3D models.
  1. We build 3D content (models) from source data such as – CAD/CAM files, Photos, sketches, almost anything. Our secret sauce is producing highly photorealistic models, while being ‘light’ on processing power requirements.

  2. We produce ‘Real-time ready’ low polygon count textured 3D models, ready for import into various engines & platforms – Olive, Unreal, OpenSim, Unity3d, NGRAIN, Right Hemisphere, XNA, GameBryo, Delta3D, Torque3D, Second Life, NEXUS and many more.

  3. Custom scripts – for easier integration into different engines, we have the capability to write custom scripts that reduce manual importing issues to a minimum.

2. Turn-key custom Virtual Training Applications.

  2. As domain experts, the Heartwood team evaluates customer requirements from the ground up, designing a Training application around it, rather than force fitting any one solution, engine or platform.

  3. Heartwood’s applications are designed for training end-users ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANY Operating System. In other words, our applications - 1) are hosted on a web server for 24/7 access 2) run on regular PCs/laptops with a mouse & keyboard 3) are browser based, running in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari, and work on both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. 3. 3D Animations, videos, and 3DPDF’s –
    Leveraging existing 3D assets or creating new ones, Heartwood’s team of visual effects artists produce photo-realistic collateral for Sales & Marketing needs. Typically created for corporate websites, Tradeshows and in-person/WebEx presentations; played on computers, TV’s and handheld devices.
