Ranjani Mohana serves as the Studio Supervisor and ensures the smooth internal running of the firm. Ranjani coordinates office management for both the sales process and project lifecycle: from proposals and contracts through invoicing and accounts receivable.
Previously, she served as the Director of Karna Global Technologies—overseeing internal and external relationships as well as operations and HR. She has also served as a Marketing Manager with Texas Instruments’ Storage product group, hiring targeted professionals from the U.S. to relocate to Bangalore, India with a “No Place Like Home” campaign.
Ranjani holds three separate master’s degrees: in Journalism (University of North Texas), an MBA (Southern Methodist University), and in Information Systems (University of Texas at Dallas).
In addition to her career achievements, Ranjani is a pastel artist. She participates in competitive art shows and works with several art organizations in Northern California. She also volunteers in several community projects and was particularly involved as board president for Riding Unlimited, a nonprofit organization providing horse riding lessons for disabled kids.
As the Lead 3D Artist, Chris Brothers is a dedicated problem solver who brings the diverse talents of our production team together. Chris has been working on projects for clients in the defense industry for the past 5 years. Prior to his career in animation Chris worked in the entertainment and motion graphics industries.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in Computer Art and Animation.
As Project Manager, David is a dedicated problem solver who brings the diverse elements of a production together into a single creative vision for the client. He brings 10 years of professional experience to the practice of computer-aided design technology. David’s experience and personal commitment has lead to huge success in each of his projects.
David is a graduate of the Architecture program of Harvard University Design School. He enjoys hiking, swimming and kayaking in the glory of the Northern California outdoors.
In her role as Director of Production, Tara leads Heartwood Studios’ international production team and confidently guides clients through the production process. She works with clients to develop a coherent vision that fits within the project’s budget and timeline.
Tara carries within her a “do what it takes to get the job done” attitude. Her passionate focus, resourcefulness, and attention to detail allows her to lead and manage production teams around the world.
Prior to joining Heartwood Studios, Tara worked at a local staffing firm and also a corporate financial services company. Tara moved to California from Kansas after graduating from Fort Hays State University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Communication. She enjoys the beautiful California weather, and she relaxes by reading good books.
